Red Panda

The red panda may look like a racoon, but it's definitely a member of the panda family. This adorable creature is only a little bigger than a regular house cat but it is only found in China and India, so they are quite rare. They don'y usually travel in packs, they're mostly solitary creatures except when it is their time to mate. Their diet consists mostly of bamboo sprouts and even some insects which is a little odd for a mammal. They spend most of their time sleeping high up in the forest trees and start looking for food at night time, they are shy creatures. Because the red panda lives only in China and India, you might have guessed that it is an endangered species, which is quite unfortunate. Red pandas are quite friendly, they might, however, be cautious around humans. If for whatever reason, you come across a red panda in China or India, you should keep your distance just to be safe. The red panda is my favorite animal simply because it is so adorable. I encourage you to try and learn more about the red panda, they are interesting creatures.
